A week after a 23-year-old woman was savagely slain on the Lower East Side, three city legislators are advocating the establishment of an online database revealing the names of convicted domestic abusers.

State Sen. Eric Adams (D-Brooklyn), who earlier introduced the bill, and Assemblywoman Vanessa Gibson (D-Bronx) and Assemblyman Hakeem Jeffries (D-Brooklyn) joined forced yesterday to say they want people convicted of domestic violence listed in a state registry, not unlike the registry kept for sexual offenders.

The digital database would allow any registry user to determine if a person has a history of domestic-violence convictions.

Raul Barrera, 33, who is accused of murdering Sarah Coit on the day she planned to leave him, reportedly had at least seven domestic violence incidents with previous girlfriends.
