Storm headed to NY may drop up to foot of snow

Get ready for another icy punch from Old Man Winter.

The National Weather Service is calling this storm a Nor'easter that may dump 6 to 12 inches of snow on the city.

• Snow will start mainly after 7 p.m. today and drop 4 to 8 inches overnight, with temps in the upper 20s.

• Another 1 to 3 inches will fall by noon tomorrow, with wind gusts up to 30 mph.

• New York is on pace to break its yearly snowfall average of 25.5 inches. This winter 21.8 inches has already accumulated.
