Strippers, bouncers face drug charges at Bronx cabaret, police say

They may have been showing customers more than just flesh at the Sin City Cabaret in the Bronx, police said.

Nine people, including dancers and bouncers, were arrested late Wednesday by the NYPD on charges they sold cocaine at the strip club at 2520 Park Ave. in the Mott Haven section.

Officials with the Office of Special Narcotics Prosecutor said police made $22,000 in undercover cocaine buys at the adult club, which is several blocks south of Yankee Stadium. Beginning in December 2014, investigators made numerous purchases of the drugs either inside or in front of the club, special narcotics prosecutor Bridget Brennan said.

The NYPD also started a nuisance abatement action against Sin City Cabaret in response to complaints of criminal activity at and around the club, Brennan said.

A person answering the telephone at the club Thursday said no one was available to comment.
