Sundance Film Festival: 'HappyThankYouMorePlease'

"HappyThankYouMorePlease" may be an annoying movie title (we're not going to go into its long explanation here), but it's anything but annoying to watch. Directed, written by and starring Josh Radnor (Ted from "How I Met Your Mother"), the film follows a group of twenty-something New Yorkers dealing with typical issues that twenty-something New Yorkers deal with — love, career, family, money, leaving New York — but in an atypical way. Though the tale jumps around a bit among characters, it focuses on writer Sam Wexler (Radnor), who has been cruising in Uncommittedville for quite some time but suddenly finds himself attached to a little boy who got lost on the subway (the adorable Michael Algieri) and a beautiful waitress/singer (Kate Mara). If you spent any part of your twenties in or around NYC, this is a must-see — the characters are dealing with real, relatable problems presented in a way that gives hope to struggling New Yorkers without being overly cheesy.
