On Sept. 6, more than 700 stores around New York City are throwing open their doors for Fashion's Night Out - the annual citywide shopping party that kicks off September's New York Fashion Week, running from 6 to 11 p.m.

Department stores, indie boutiques, chains and salons are hosting everything from celebrity guests to dance parties to beauty touchups to, of course, lots of opportunities to shop, shop shop.

So what are you waiting for? Get out to FNO!

IF YOU WANT TO ... Spot a celeb

Cue the crowds! Reality TV queen Kim Kardashian is making an appearance at Lord & Taylor to chat with customers and sign bottles of her True Reflection perfume (for anyone who buys a $123 gift set). Meanwhile, to celebrate the 10th anniversary of "Project Runway," past and present "Runway" designers - including Chris March, Mondo Guerra and Jay McCarroll - are making appearances, as is ex-"Real Housewife" Jill Zarin, to promote her new jewelry line. 424 Fifth Ave., btwn 38th and 39th sts., 212-391-3344

Fox's "Glee" returns to the airwaves Thursday night (especially exciting since part of Season 4 was filmed in NYC!). Before you hit up the DVR for the episode Friday (since you're obviously going to be at FNO Thursday night), meet "Glee" cutie Darren Criss at Saks Fifth Avenue. That's a wrap: "Girls" star Allison Williams hosts Diane von Furstenberg's Meatpacking District bash alongside the iconic designer. QVC is broadcasting live from NYC with some mega star power. A bevy of big names who have QVC collections and partnerships, including Jennifer Hudson, Isaac Mizrahi and Nicole Richie, are slated to attend, as is Vogue's Anna Wintour. 14th St. and Ninth Ave.

Macy's, of course, has a ton of celeb appearances on FNO: Designer Michael Kors is on the brand-new revamped shoe floor; Scott Disick is kicking back in the men's lounge, complete with cigars and refreshments; Bethenny Frankel is showing off her shapewear line; "Bachelorette" Emily Maynard is heading Benefit Cosmetics' makeup party. 151 W. 34th St., btwn Broadway and Seventh Ave., 212-695-4400

Get in bed with "Twilight" hunk Kellan Lutz: He'll be appearing at Bloomingdale's on behalf of bedding line Charisma. IF YOU WANT TO ... Shop somewhere new

Fab e-commerce site Piperlime is launching its first brick-and-mortar store ... Thursday night! Piperlime guest editors Rachel Zoe and Olivia Palermo will be on hand chatting about fall's hottest trends, and Rev Run and DJ Ruckus are providing the entertainment. 121 Wooster St., btwn Prince and Spring sts.

Target is hosting a one-night pop-up shop where New Yorkers can nab the four new Shops at Target collections before they hit Target stores on Sept. 9. The Shops collections are created by owners of small boutiques around the country, including NYC's own Odin and Kirna Zabête. Designer Christian Siriano hosts the grand opening of his Nolita boutique with a DJd soiree, where cocktails will be flowing and Siriano will be signing handbags and accessories (many of which are less than $100). The Ace Hotel and the shop Opening Ceremony are always a hubbub for fun, and on FNO, the hotel lobby will become a karaoke lounge. Upscale department store Henri Bendel is going all-out Cirque du Soleil, with performances from Cirque's Zumanity. Customers who purchase $50 worth of goods receive a striped iPhone case that can be customized with Swarovski crystals. Designer Tracy Reese is throwing her third annual FNO dance-a-thon, judged by Reese and DJ Brooklyn Dawn, who is spinning. Need a break from the dance floor?
