A Bronx substitute teacher was arrested Thursday for allegedly damaging another person's car after a fight over a parking spot outside the school, officials said.
Police said Dominique Sturdivent, 25, a substitute math teacher at M.S. 80, made a "long scratch" on a Green Toyota with her keys on Wednesday morning after the verbal confrontation.
Sturdivent, whom education officials said had only been employed for "a few days," was arrested just after 9 a.m. a block away from the school's entrance.
A spokeswoman from the education department said Sturdivent would not work in any schools pending the outcome of her case.
The Bronx District Attorney's office was unsure when she would be arraigned on Thursday, or if she had an attorney.
