Some arriving flights coming into Kennedy Airport are being delayed almost four hours because of inclement weather and low visibility just days after a blizzard warning grounded scores of flights, officials said on Saturday.
Port Authority officials said the delays were partially due to low clouds and that most flights at the airport were delayed under an hour.
Arrival traffic is experiencing airborne delays of up to 15 minutes, officials said.
Nearly 3,000 flights were canceled Tuesday at Kennedy, LaGuardia and Newark Liberty airports because of wintry mix of snow, sleet and rain, officials said. LaGuardia had 99 percent of its flights canceled while Kennedy saw at least two-thirds of its flights canceled, officials said.
