And the stunning Zac Efron drug saga continues.
The “High School Musical” star reportedly did two — not just one — stints in rehab this year to deal with his addiction to cocaine, according to a report from TMZ.com on Thursday.
Sources told TMZ the 25-year-old, who has allegedly been using cocaine for more than two years, attempted to get help in March, staying in a private residence “where he received intensive outpatient care for several weeks.” The residence reportedly was not located in California.
However, Efron soon returned to Los Angeles to start shooting Seth Rogen’s flick “Neighbors,” during which he relapsed and was forced to go to rehab again after filming wrapped. Efron reportedly also took Molly, a form of Ecstasy.
According to TMZ, Efron’s drug use stems from the following: dealing with his controlling parents, the fact that he hasn’t had recent movie successes, “girl issues” and hanging around with “a bad group of friends.”
