GUARD

Taylor Brown

Long Island Lutheran, Fr., 5-7

Active defender has added a pull-up jumper to her arsenal. Said coach Rich Slater: "She's one of the smoothest guards on Long Island. Her feel from the game is way ahead of her 14 years of age."

GUARD/FORWARD

Nicole Caggiano

Sachem North, Sr., 5-9

Athletic, sees the floor well and drives to the basket well. Already has a 38-point game this season.

FORWARD

Shneeka Center

Smithtown West, Sr., 6-foot

Can play inside and outside as well as bring the ball upcourt. Also a terrific rebounder. Averaged 27 points and 17 rebounds last season and will attend Davidson.

GUARD

Katie Cunningham

Kellenberg, Sr., 5-6

Great at running the offense in transition and knows how to win. Averaged 15 points per game as a junior on the Class A Federation championship team. Good three-point shooter and a tough, scrappy defender.

CENTER

Sara English

Good post player who plays well with her back to the basket. Averaged 16 points and 15 rebounds last season and signed with UMass.

GUARD

Shannon Flynn

St. Mary's, Sr., 5-7

Started every game since her freshman season. Outstanding passer who has evolved into a true scoring threat (25 points per game as a junior). Doesn't get rattled shooting the three.

FORWARD

Michele Impellizeri

St. Anthony's, 6-2, Jr.

Highly-skilled player who can do a little of everything. Good athlete with good touch and finishes with her left or right hand. Also a good shot blocker.

FORWARD

Emma O'Connor

Kellenberg, Sr., 6-0

Averaged 15 points and nearly five blocks on the Class A Federation championship team as a junior. Double-double threat every night, will play at Marist next season. She already has a 20-20 game this season.

GUARD

Alexis Smith

St. John the Baptist, Jr., 5-10

Started on a CHSAA Class AA state championship team as a freshman. Big, strong athletic guard has been getting look from a slew of Division I schools. Coach Ted Oberg describes her as a "Tasmanian Devil" on defense.

GUARD

Kamala Thompson

St. John the Baptist, Jr., 5-9

Coach on the floor. Has numerous Division I schools looking at her. Handles the ball well and is great at shooting the three, but strong enough to take down players off the dribble.
