Sarah Collette scores winner for Oyster Bay field hockey

Sarah Collette scored the winner in the second round of penalty strokes for the Oyster Bay field hockey team in its 2-1 victory over New Hyde Park yesterday in Nassau A-I. The teams tied at 1 after the first round of penalty strokes. Oyster Bay's Shelby Cook scored off a pass from Kaela Kilfoil in the first half. Hannah Arkin had a goal for New Hyde Park. Anna Montick had 10 saves for Oyster Bay (2-5).

Clarke 3, Baldwin 1:Madeline Seims scored two goals and had an assist for Clarke (4-0) in Nassau I. Michelle Barahona also scored.

Manhasset 3, Massapequa 1: Manhasset improved to 3-5 in Nassau I behind two goals from Alexandra Tidedjian and another from Sarah Weppler.

Centereach 2, North Babylon 1: Caroline McParland scored off a rebound early in the first half to lead Centereach (4-5) in Suffolk II. Sophie Alois added a goal in the second half to give Centreach a two-goal cushion.

Connetquot 4, Half Hollow Hills 1: Christina Fandaros and Sophie Mazzaro each had a goal and an assist to lead Connetquot (5-4) in Suffolk I.
