THIRD: Alex the Terror failed to fire after breaking through gate before last race; improvement predicted. Great Stuff notched sizzling final fraction when a hard-charging second in last; very dangerous. Chief Lion, an uncoupled barn mate (David Jacobson) of Great Stuff, is fleet-footed and owns swift figures; right in the thick of this.
FOURTH: Til We Meet Again gets Lasix after regressing in last start; rebounds today. Awesome Anthony was a change-of-pace fifth on turf last time; developing and dangerous. Giant Rocks returns to dirt and makes first start with maiden-claiming tag; very playable. Scatoga is improving and will offer fat ticket; nice combination.
FIFTH: Lady Luciano makes third start of form cycle and logged four of her five wins on the inner track. Northern Screamer was a convincing winner in last and now makes first start since claimed by Danny Gargan; very dangerous. Sun and Moon is rested and owns fast back numbers; must be factored into the mix.
SIXTH: Majority demolished a maiden field at Finger Lakes by 17 lengths last time; ready for prime time. Investigator also broke maiden in last and tallied career-best number on inner oval last spring; very dangerous. That Makes Sense could impact if pace meltdown ensues.
SEVENTH: We Did took backward step in last after fast-figured win in previous start; bounces back at juicy ticket. Still Krz owns fast figures and can prove very tough on an unchallenged lead. Gentrify is another that’s fleet-footed and must be respected. Praetereo won last and could be ideally positioned in the stalker’s seat; right in the thick of this.
EIGHTH: Flick of an Eye was a front-running winner in last at Penn National and should have more to give in third start since August. True History has the benefit of the rail and packs strong kick on “A” game. Wait Your Turn owns sprinter’s speed and owns two wins and a second from three starts; big-time player.
NINTH: Source Control makes first start versus NY-breds after fast-figured placing in last at Churchill Downs; more to come. Can’t Stop History bounced in last after notching fast numbers in first two starts; very dangerous. Save the Tigers should pack amplified wallop with cutback to 6 furlongs; very playable. Nut Nut makes first start with a maiden-claiming tag; price will be tempting.
