If you missed the scattering of snowflakes Monday keep your eyes open for some flurries today, as a cold week on Long Island continues with temperatures staying in the 30s.

The National Weather Service forecast temperatures in the upper 30s Tuesday, with a 20 percent chance of snow showers. Wind gusts may be as high as 25 mph.

Temperatures will dip into the 20s once again tonight. Conditions on Wednesday appear to look the same as today.

The rest of the week is forecast to stay cold, with temperatures in the 30s. Friday is looking quite a bit warmer, with temperatures predicted to rise to 43 -- but with the prospect of rain.
