Saturday may have been gray and wet, but the rest of the holiday weekend will be sunny and pleasant, perfect beach weather.

Sunday is the best day of the weekend to head out to the beach or to go boating, when there will be a mix of sun and clouds and the humidity will be low, meteorologists said. Sunday’s high will be in the mid to upper 80s with lows near 69.

Clouds will disappear by evening, just in time for fireworks. Temperatures are expected to be the upper 70s when the sun sets at about 8:30 p.m.

“It should be pretty clear,” said Faye Barthold, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service’s Upton office. “It could be a little breezy in the afternoon, but it will have died down as it gets towards sunset.”

Another mix of sun and clouds comes on Monday. Look for highs around 85 and lows hovering near 66.

July Fourth will also see pleasant weather, with mostly sunny skies, highs around 82 and low humidity. There is a small chance for a passing evening shower.
