A high pressure system coupled with colder air coming in from the north is bringing temperatures about 10 degrees below normal for Saturday, the National Weather Service said.
While the skies will be sunny and dry, temperatures will top out in the mid-to-upper 40s on Saturday, according to Carlie Buccola, meteorologist with the weather service’s Upton bureau. Lows Saturday night into Sunday will be in the 30s, at or around the average low of 38 for this time of year.
“The good news is tomorrow we’re going to have some warmer air with temperatures in the 50s, with still plenty of sun,” Buccola said.
Winds will remain calm throughout the weekend and no precipitation is expected, Buccola said.
