Monday’s forecast with “plenty of sunshine” is expected to usher in a week of mostly warm weather, according to the National Weather Service in Upton.
Meteorologist Faye Barthold said Monday’s highs will be in the mid- to upper 70s, which is “maybe a degree or two below normal for this time of year.”
No rain is expected and there will be a southwesterly wind between 10 mph and 15 mph in the afternoon, she said.
On Tuesday, meteorologists said, the high temperature will be 77 and the low will be 61 with the possibility of scattered showers in the evening.
Wednesday will bring a mix of sun and clouds along with highs near 80 and an overnight low of 64.
Lots of clouds and a humid southerly wind are in the forecast for Thursday when it gets warmer with highs near 84 and a low of 66.
Partly cloudy skies return for Friday, but it will be less humid with a high of 85 and a low of 69.
“It does look fairly nice temperature-wise,” Barthold said of the week’s forecast.
