Temperatures will warm up to the low 70s, and cool down overnight to the mid-50s, the National Weather Service said.
Plus, Rich Hoffman, News 12 Long Island meteorologist, reminds us that autumn arrives officially at 9:54 p.m. Saturday.
Sunday is expected to bring similar conditions, with Monday just a bit cooler.
These temperatures are much more in keeping with what’s expected around this time of year, with highs of 71 or 72 considered normal for Long Island MacArthur Airport, and 55 the normal low.
