Long Islanders should get set for warm temperatures with a midweek chance of rain, according to the National Weather Service.
Sunday will be partly cloudy, with highs in the low 80s, with lows in the mid- to upper 60s, said Lauren Nash, meteorologist with the service's Upton bureau.
Monday will also see highs in the low 80s, with lows in the low to mid-70s.
Tuesday will likely be the warmest day of the week, with highs in the upper 80s. Lows will be in the low to mid-70s.
The first chance of rain comes on Wednesday evening, with a 30 percent chance of precipitation, Nash said. Highs on Wednesday will be in the mid 80s, with lows in the low to mid-70s.
A slight chance of rain continues into Thursday, with highs that day in the mid-80s and lows in the upper 60s.
Friday is expected to be dry, with highs in the mid-80s and lows in the upper 60s.
