Stray dog Arthur joins extreme endurance team on jungle race in Ecuador

After a stray dog got a meatball from Swedish competitors during the 430-mile Adventure Racing World Championship in Ecuador, he joined the team for the rest of the grueling race that took 4.5 days and ended on Nov. 15, 2014. After trekking through mud and jungle, the dog who is now known as Arthur finished with Team Peak Performance and was later adopted and taken to Sweden.

Arthur, the dog who joined an adventure racing team in Ecuador this month, swims alongside his group, Team Peak Performance, during the kayaking portion of the 430-mile Adventure Racing World Championship.
