EDITORIAL: Box score - 49 percent

That's the percentage of union households in Massachusetts that voted for Republican Scott Brown to take labor icon Edward Kennedy's seat in the U.S. Senate. The AFL-CIO, which commissioned a poll after Tuesday's stunning election upset, said the results reflected a "working class revolt." Democrat Martha Coakley got only 46 percent of the labor vote because union members "did not see the Democrat as being on their side," concluded the AFL-CIO, which supported her.
