Regarding “Trampoline park injuries increase 12-fold” [News, Aug. 1], I’ve come upon a solution to help homeowners with trampolines prevent injuries.

Shorten the trampoline’s legs and hollow out the ground below. Falls onto the ground become the same as any backyard fall. My children and grandchildren have been jumping on my trampoline for more than 16 years with no injuries and without the need for netting.
