Thank God for the Cuban-Americans in Florida and New Jersey who celebrated the demise of the brutal dictator Fidel Castro [“In Miami, a party,” News, Nov. 27]. Their sincere joy at the death of this tyrant put to shame President Barack Obama and the other leftists who couldn’t say a bad word about one of the most repressive regimes in history. Obama made sure to criticize the Philippines president for his war against drug dealers and addicts, while not condemning the Castros’ war against religion and a free press.
