Letter: Consider that killings are mistakes

It is exceedingly sad to know that another police officer has been killed ["Indictment ruling in cop slay by June 11," News, May 28]. Still, people don't put two and two together. People cannot continue to blame all police officers for violence committed against the public.

When will we choose to wake up and stop pointing fingers? We cannot continue to blame any one type of human for all of our suffering. We are by definition imperfect. What is important is the intention.
