The Soviet Union always had elections, but only one real candidate to choose from [“Cruz, Kasich tout alliance,” News, April 26].

Sen. Ted Cruz and Gov. John Kasich agreeing where each will and won’t campaign may be legal, but it kills choice, and is unpatriotic and un-American.

If you accept collusion, you deserve a Soviet-style government!
