Regarding “Cyclists risk their lives on our streets” [Just Sayin’, Aug. 27], I would like to commend the writer for saving our planet.

That said, I don’t remember the last time I saw a bike rider stop at a stop sign or red light, or obey any other motor vehicle rules that a driver would be ticketed for breaking.

Does the writer’s plea to share the road have any consequence for cyclists?
