Farms in Nassau County are so rare that we should do everything we can to help them stay well [“Farm feud,” News, Aug. 30].

The Rottkamp Brothers Farm is an important and valuable piece of land; the farm should not be forced out of business.

I hope the Rottkamps will receive a permit to sell their produce at their own farmstand, and that the Village of Old Brookville will rule in their favor.
