Oskar Groening is on trial for his actions as a guard at Auschwitz ["The accessories to the Holocaust," Opinion, May 1].

Eva Kor, an Auschwitz survivor, has stated that some good can come of his trial because it can educate younger people. The trial should be televised or recorded for future generations.

Groening, 93, should not be given the death penalty. Instead he should travel the world speaking of his actions. Kor is correct.
