I've worked hard and have managed to reach the ripe age of 61 1/2. This means that in 6 months, I will receive senior discounts at the movies, the golf course and just about everywhere.
It's clear to me that my two sons, who are having difficulty finding high-paying jobs, could use this discount much more. The discount that will soon be mine would better serve struggling young people just starting out in an ever-changing world.
I apologize for the glut of senior citizens who will respond to this letter. But take my discount and give it to a worthy youth. It's tough out there.
