Letter: Go after arms dealers to terrorists

Instead of trying to wipe out terrorist organizations, which doesn't seem to be getting us anywhere, why don't we find out who supplies them with arms and ammunition and go after the suppliers ["Global effort to thwart recruitment of militants," News, Sept. 4]?

I'm sure we could find them and put a stop to this. Someone has to be equipping the terrorists. The guns and ammunition do not come out of the air.
