The IRS computer system was hacked for all data on 330,000 people's tax returns. The federal government database of 21.5 million current and former employees was breached. Ashley Madison's website for marital cheaters was hacked, exposing account information for more than 30 million users. Sony Pictures' email was cracked.

Hillary Clinton's private email server apparently was not hacked, even though a breach of her confidant Sidney Blumenthal's email system exposed her correspondence ["Clinton: 'I take responsibility,' " News, Aug. 27]. Why are the Republicans screaming about her email security? Maybe everyone should ask her how she did it.
