Letter: Let physiology dictate bathroom use

A supervisor institutes a policy that limits bathroom

Let’s settle this logically [“N.C. bathroom law makes no one safer,” Letters, May 13]. Use the bathroom that matches your physiology. Existing restrooms are designed to cater to your body’s configuration.

However, if a man wants to put on make-up in the men’s room, ridicule or interference should be treated as a violation of his civil rights. Conventions in bathroom accommodations have been established to protect and serve everyone.
