Letter: New board members with school ties

I applaud the residents for turning down North Babylon schools' cap-piercing budget ["School voters sent message," News, May 23].

However, why would anyone elect to the school board two people, Heather Rowland and Geri-Ann McNamee, who have direct ties to school districts? The former is a school psychologist in Massapequa, and the latter is a teacher in Comsewogue. Where will their loyalties lie?
