Letter: Protests must be done in fair way

As much as I oppose what Donald Trump advocates and how he advocates it, I am for his right to speak at his rallies without being disrupted or having to cancel [“Hopefuls must stand against violence,” Opinion, March 22].

Demonstrate all you want, I’m totally for it, but don’t take away the rights of the person you’re demonstrating against. A demonstration needs to have a just or moral foundation to give it power. It loses most of its power when it demonstrates against someone else’s moral power. It just doesn’t inspire!
