Year after year, the U.S. Postal Service has sustained losses, and this year the loss will amount to $5.5 billion.

While individuals pay 49 cents for postage stamps, nonprofit organizations pay substantially less. Are nonprofits a major contributor to Postal Service losses?

In one week, our mailbox contained 15 letters from nonprofit organizations.
