Judge Sol Wachtler's criticism of the Baltimore state's attorney's choice of words is, I believe, appropriate; the state cannot afford even the appearance of yielding to the mob ["Dangerous lesson for prosecutors," Opinion, May 11].
However, it must be admitted that State's Attorney Marilyn Mosby's action moved this bitter controversy out of the streets and into the courts, and that is a good thing.
