One way to improve Southern State

Many ways to improve the Southern State Parkway are discussed in Newsday [“The best answer for road safety,” Editorial, March 31].

An improvement that could be done easily, quickly, and at little expense would be to clarify the rules of the road to emphasize that exiting vehicles have the right of the way. That could be done by simply adding yield signs on all entrance ramps.
