Just Sayin’: Street sweeping is pointless

The bill would allow drivers to avoid tickets

Every few weeks, a Town of Hempstead street-sweeper comes through the neighborhood. It dodges cars parked at the curb, which are actually supposed to have been moved to facilitate the sweeping.

The sweeper generally just stirs up dust and seems to accomplishing nothing. Is this a waste of taxpayer dollars or what?
