Black lives matter, blue lives matter, all lives matter. Right now, no lives matter [“5 lives, 5 tragic deaths,” News, July 9].

We’ve seen police officers of many races ambushed, shot and killed. We watch in horror as to the different types of tools such as trucks, planes, cars and homemade bombs are used to kill innocent people.

Goodness and love will not defeat this ideology — only strength, law and order, respect and the understanding that the extremists are driven by weakness.
