Tax cuts create capital to create jobs
A recent letter writer was skeptical that tax cuts for the rich would help the economy [“Skeptical about Trump tax cuts,” June 1]. He wrote that money would go in their pockets toward increased investments, not spending.
Not enough of us realize that investments grow companies, which produce jobs. That in turn increases spending and the quality of life of the working class.
That boost in economic benefit is multiples greater than government spending’s bottomless pit.
