Orange County Powerball winnings still unclaimed

A second place ticket worth $1 million was sold in Harriman last week.

HARRIMAN - A second place Powerball ticket worth $1 million that was sold in Orange County last week has still been unclaimed.

The ticket was sold at the K-G Wine and Liquor store on Route 17M in Harriman. Wednesday's drawing didn't net any top prize winners, but there were five second place, $1 million winners nationwide, including one in New York.

The owner of the store says they're anxious to find out who the winner is. "I don't know if the winner knows they won. Some people just pile up their tickets. I don't know if they know or if they're waiting or don't know so we want to get the word out!" says store owner Janet Naubenbis.

There's another Powerball drawing tonight. The top prize is estimated at $400 million, which could be the nation's fifth largest ever.
