Police: Teen driver A.J. Cedillo killed, 3 other teens hurt in Orange crash

Police say the car spun out of control and crashed into a utility pole on the opposite side of the street.

ORANGE - A teen driver was killed and three young passengers were hurt after a serious car accident on Indian River Road near Heron Drive last night.

Police say the car spun out of control and crashed into a utility pole on the opposite side of the street.

The driver of the vehicle, A.J. Cedillo, 18, has died, according to Orange police.

Three teenage girls were passengers in the car and were injured in the crash. Two of them are listed in critical condition at the hospital, while the third was treated and released.

Neighbors say they heard everything and rushed outside to tend to the four victims. One witness says the driver's side was all pushed in, but he and another neighbor were able to open the back door.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation. Police are asking anyone who has information on the crash to contact them.
