Robbery has Orangetown cops asking for public's help

Orangetown police were seeking the public's help Tuesday in locating a man who robbed a woman in a Nyack parking lot nearly two months ago.

A 33-year-old Upper Nyack woman was robbed at gunpoint near the intersection of Main Street and Broadway on Aug. 28 around 11:30 p.m., according to an Orangetown police news release. The man took $20 and fled on foot toward Gedney Street.

The man was captured in surveillance videos taken from local businesses. Anyone with information is urged to contact authorities at 845-359-2121.
