Ticket Terms and Conditions


By use of this ticket, the ticket purchaser/holder (“Holder”) agrees that: (a) he or she shall not transmit or aid in transmitting any information about the event to which this ticket grants admission (“Event”), including, but not limited to, any account, description, picture, video, audio, reproduction, or other information concerning the Event; (b) Newsday LLC (“Newsday”) and each of its agents shall have the unrestricted right and license to use Holder’s image, likeness, name, voice, comments, or other proprietary or public rights and that of any minor accompanying Holder in any broadcast, telecast, photograph, video, and/or sound recording taken in connection with the Event or other transmission or reproduction in whole or in part of the Event, for all purposes, without compensation; and (c) Holder shall adhere to any additional Event rules or regulations that apply, including those where the Event is being held (“Venue”).

Holder, on behalf of himself or herself and on behalf of any minor accompanying Holder to the Event: (a) voluntarily assumes all risks incidental to the Event, including, without limitation, the risk of lost, stolen, or damaged property or personal injury; (b) waives, releases, and discharges Newsday, the Venue, and their respective agents, employees, and contractors from any and all negligence and liability for Holder’s death, disability, personal injury, property damages, property theft, or claims of any nature which may accrue to Holder as a direct or indirect result of Holder’s participation in the Event; and (c) agrees to defend (at Newsday’s sole option), indemnify, and hold harmless Newsday, the Venue, and their respective agents, employees, and contractors from and against any and all claims, suits, damages, and liabilities of any nature including all costs, expenses, and attorneys’ fees, which in any manner result from Holder’s attendance and/or actions during the Event.

Newsday and/or the Venue may revoke this license and eject or refuse entry to Holder, without refund of any portion of the ticket price, for violation of Event rules, illegal activity, misconduct, or failure to comply with any security measures. Smoking, animals (with the exception of service animals), alcohol, large bags and containers, glass bottles, weapons, contraband, illegal substances, laser pointers, noisemakers, professional cameras and recording equipment, and all other items determined to be unacceptable by Newsday and/or the Venue are not permitted on Event premises. Holder consents to reasonable examinations and searches to ensure compliance with laws and Event rules.

The unauthorized resale and/or third-party purchase of this ticket is grounds for seizure or cancellation without refund or other compensation. Holder voluntarily assumes all risks associated with the purchase of this ticket from anyone other than Newsday or its designated agents. Newsday reserves the right to require photo I.D. for entry to the Event venue. This ticket may not be used for advertising, promotion (including contests or sweepstakes), or other trade or commercial purposes without the prior express written consent of Newsday. Holder shall not sell or promote any products or services on Event premises without Newsday’s prior express written consent. Newsday does not guarantee the attendance, appearance, or availability of any announced attendee or celebrity guest for the Event. Holder’s purchase of the Event ticket is final, and no refunds will be issued on any basis.
