In 1963 the Newsday Marching Band Festival began with a one-day performance featuring 13 bands.

Featuring bands from across Nassau and Suffolk, each night always promises to thrill, entertain and delight families and friends.

The Newsday Marching Band Festival acts as a fundraiser for each participating school band and also funds a donation to Newsday Charities.

Location: Mitchel Field Athletic Complex, Charles Lindbergh Blvd., across from the Cradle of Aviation Museum and the Long Island Children's Museum

Tickets: Your $10 ticket is available through any participating school. They will also be available for purchase at the gate each performance night, as well. Children 10 years old and younger are admitted for free. There is no assigned seating.
