The bunny trail leads to brunch. And at some Easter Sunday brunches, the Bunny will appear, too. Here are five festive establishments celebrating the holiday with big buffets or special menus.

This bustling restaurant plans a "Roman Easter" a la carte menu from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Among the special items: fried artichokes; mascarpone-stuffed French toast; melon and honey salad with pecorino cheese and arugula; cavatelli carbonara with chicken, meatballs, peas and Romano cheese; tiramisu; andItalian cookies.

Easter brunch will be served in the hotel ballroom, where the Bunny will be on holiday duty. The brunch includes antipasti; seafood bar with lobster, shrimp and crab legs; omelets; four hot main courses; a meat-carving station; chafing dishes; salads and desserts. There also will be a petting zoo in the rotunda, as well as Easter-egg painting. Seatings at noon and 3 p.m.

The buffet brunch includes stations for sushi, salads and omelets to order, French toast, breads, meats such as rack of lamb and honey-glazed ham, a seafood selection including lobster and shrimp, smoked fish, cold cuts, cheeses and Greek yogurt.

The Woodlands, situated in the refurbished mansion on the Town of Oyster Bay Golf Course, will host an Easter Sunday brunch buffet from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Choices include omelets, seafood and carving stations, baked goods, salads, cured meats and desserts.
