"Shea Goodbye: 45 Years of Amazin'" is a well-done farewell to Shea Stadium, the ballpark with no aesthetic charm but plenty of fond memories.
It's incomplete; it was released during the 2008 season and therefore doesn't feature the final, heartbreaking game at Shea. But maybe that makes this DVD more appealing to Mets fans who already have suffered enough.
In any case, I'll give this DVD today to the first person who e-mails me - at firstname.lastname@example.org - with the correct answer to this question:
Name the winning pitcher in the final game at Shea.
Here are the contest rules.
--UPDATE, 1:33 p.m.: We have a winner! Gary knew that Joe Nelson, pitching for the Marlins, won the final game at Shea on September 28, 2008. Stop by tomorrow for another contest.
