Derek Jeter was hit in the bill of his helmet during the second inning of the Yankees 3-1 win over the Indians Friday night.

The up-and-in pitch, the first of the at-bat, came courtesy of Cleveland starter Corey Kluber. Jeter shouted "You don't do that" at Kluber and Indians catcher Carlos Santana after the beaning. He was looked at by the Yankees medical staff but remained in the game.

Jeter doubled to lead off the game and scored on Nick Swisher's double to give the Yankees a 1-0 lead.

CC Sabathia threw behind Asdrubal Cabrera with one out in the fourth inning, drawing a warning for both benches. But Cabrera homered later in the at-bat to tie the score at 1-1. It was Cleveland's first hit of the night.

Jeter struck out during his third plate appearance.
