Justin Turner, who hit his first home run since Aug. 6, 2011, usually is responsible for the pregame music in the Mets’ clubhouse. But Saturday his selection drew some ire. He inadvertently left his iPod on, which played various versions of the Oasis hit “Wonderwall” for more than an hour.
With the Mets snapping a six-game losing skid, Turner may have started a new superstition. “Maybe we’ll play it again tomorrow,” he said.
