Second baseman Dilson Herrera was 3-for-5 with a home run, a double and two RBIs, but the 51s fell to Fresno, 8-4. Herrera stole a base in the first inning but was picked off and caught stealing in the third.

Matt Bowman's nightmare start to the 2015 season continued. The righthander (0-3) allowed 12 hits - including two home runs and two doubles - and six runs in four innings, striking out three. His ERA ballooned to 10.93.

The game against Jupiter was postponed by rain.
