With Terry Collins loudly calling for “changes” after Wednesday night’s embarrassing loss, one that might be on the horizon is the return of Lucas Duda, who is back from the disabled list with a vengeance for Triple-A Buffalo.

Duda missed 14 games with a back strain, but after coming back last Saturday, he was 8-for-17 (.471) with a double, four homers and seven RBIs heading into yesterday’s game at Charlotte.

Duda went 3-for-3 with a double, two homers and four RBIs Wednesday night. With the Mets suffering from a serious power drain, Collins could use another option.

Duda has seven homers in 100 at-bats for the Bisons, but he labored with the Mets earlier this season in a 10-game stay, batting .100 (2-for-20) with a double and six strikeouts.
