Catcher Johnny Monell homered and walked, but Triple-A Las Vegas went just 1-for-7 with runners in scoring position and fell to Reno, 6-3, on Wednesday.

Shortstop Matt Reynolds was 1-for-4 and centerfielder Darrell Ceciliani went 2-for-4 with a double for the 51s (6-8), the Mets' affiliate.

Second baseman Dilson Herrera went 0-for-4, ending a seven-game hitting streak during which he was 17-for-34 (.500).

DOUBLE-A BINGHAMTON (8-5)

The game against Erie was postponed due to inclement weather.

SINGLE-A ADVANCED ST. LUCIE (7-7)

Second baseman Jeff McNeil was 2-for-3 with a double, triple and a walk and Ricky Knapp struck out one in five innings of scoreless, one-hit relief, but Jupiter dropped the Mets, 8-2.

SINGLE-A SAVANNAH (5-7)

Shortstop Luis Guillorme was 3-for-4 with a double, first baseman Stefan Sabol went 2-for-4 with a double, a walk and three runs scored and leftfielder Patrick Biondi was 2-for-4 with a walk and a stolen base as the Sand Gnats beat Rome, 9-5.
